LEGOLAND Florida is an awesome place to visit with children ages 2-12! This family friendly theme park was designed specifically for families with children 12 and under.
Located in Winter Haven, Florida, it is about 45 minutes southwest of Orlando and 45 minutes from downtown Tampa. The park features more than 55 rides and attractions, and sits on 150 acres, the largest LEGOLAND park in the world.
There is a virtual reality roller coaster, real roller coasters designed with families in mind, and many fun, immersive rides for younger children, including an entire DUPLO area of the park. My family loved the Dragon Coaster, which takes you behind the scenes into a medieval castle, complete with LEGO knights. Another favorite is LEGO NINJAGO The Ride.
The LEGOLAND Water Park and Peppa Pig Theme Park are also available with daily admission.
