Living in a small town doesn’t mean you‘ll have a small life!
Wellington offers it’s residents a small-town feeling with big-city opportunities. Families have top-rated public schools and great private schools to send their children to.
The Wellington recreation centers offer classes and sports year-round for all ages and skill levels, encouraging your family to stay active and get involved. With multiple large parks, such as Tiger Shark Cove, and small neighborhood parks there is always a place to go have the kids burn off some energy.
During small town parades the Wellington sidewalks are packed with local smiling faces and the sound of cheers for our community teams and local businesses.
If you are a foodie you can enjoy multiple non-chain culinary options as a resident. Swing by Agliolio for fresh-made pasta or Kontiki for a night with friends and some dancing. My home town favorite breakfast stop is Gabriel’s. The toy baskets and coloring books there are simply genius for families dining in and their staff treats you like family.
If you crave fashion, swing by the Mixed Bag and you will find classic Palm Beach look and perfect gifts for any event your invited too.
If you enjoy the game of golf there are plenty of courses right here in town. Swing by Wellington National Golf Club, if your children are interested they offer an excellent juniors class. Also, the beach, museums, theater, and the zoo are just a short drive from here.
Wellington is one of the worlds largest equestrian communities and each season the town hosts the Winter Equestrian Festival. Here you will find equestrians from all over the world competing with all equestrian disciplines represented. You can enjoy brunch at Sunday Polo or an evening watching the Grand Prix under the lights.
Over thirty celebrities call this town “home” and even Bill Gates has found it to be a town worth investing in. I was raised in Wellington before there were paved roads or the mall and I’m proud to be raising my family here. This is a special place to call home, because your dreams aren’t bigger than this town. You may still have wings to fly but this is a town to stay and build your roots!
