Where do you live in Palm Beach County?
Boca Raton, FL in the northeastern part of the city.
How long have you lived here?
Since 1982! I am a Palm Beach County native. I went to college in St. Augustine, Florida and spent my twenties in New York City, but came back home after my daughter was born in 2013. I live less than ten minutes from the house I grew up in.

What do you love about living in Palm Beach County?
It’s so hard to narrow down! I love that Palm Beach County is a culturally rich area—quality
entertainment and the arts are alive and well here and a big passion of mine. I currently serve on the Advisory Council for The Center (formerly Boca Arts Center) that we are working to get built next to the Amphitheater in Mizner Park. That will be a game changer for Boca Raton. I love that we are able to live where most people want to vacation—being a tourist destination ensures that we’ll always have great restaurants, shopping and events in our area. I need all of those things after living in New York City for so many years. Living 5 minutes from the ocean also doesn’t hurt. 😉

How many children do you have?
One daughter. She is almost 10.
What is your job description?
I am the founder and personality behind ModernBocaMom.com, an award-winning lifestyle site for the stylish and modern South Florida parent. I also serve as the Director of Communications and Community Outreach at Grandview Preparatory School in east Boca.
What is your favorite activity to do in Palm Beach with your family?
Staycations at waterfront resorts when family members and friends come to town to visit! We are also members of the Boca Museum of Art and Boca Historical Society. There are always new and fresh exhibits to see at both!

Best piece of parenting advice you have received: “Find your village.” I couldn’t be a working mom, wife, daughter, friend, colleague without my village of family and friends. It’s so important as a parent to feel like someone always has your back.
