Manatee Lagoon – A place for fun, family friendly activities all summer long!

0
Now that summer is here I am always looking for educational things to do with my boys!
Have you visited the Manatee Lagoon?
Manatee Lagoon is one of Palm Beach County’s newest fun and engaging family-friendly attractions, with interactive, entertaining exhibits about the environment of the Lake Worth Lagoon and the wonderful world of manatees. It is located at 6000 N. Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. It is easy to get to, has free admission and there is tons of free parking (*it is closed on Mondays)!
FPL constructed Manatee Lagoon as part of its environmental mission to not only educate the public about the relationship it has with these wonderful creatures, but to “inspire communities to preserve and protect Florida’s environment and wildlife for future generations.”
I recently took my boys and they had an absolute blast!
Manatee season is November 15 through March 31 but the Manatee Lagoon has family friendly activities all year, especially this summer!
