Winnie the Pooh Craft + Story Time

0

Last weekend, we had a fun outdoor story time for the Palm Beach County Imagination Library, celebrating Winnie the Pooh’s Birthday!

It was beautiful weather, and we set up a table outside at Downtown at the Gardens for the party. The kids made party hats as a craft, listened to stories, and enjoyed mini cupcakes. I picked up this adorable balloon garland kit, and supplies at Target.

This would make a great birthday party theme, and the craft was fun and easy to make! You’ll need: party hats, pastel cardstock, construction paper, glue sticks, a stapler, and markers.

First, cut the cardstock and cover the party hats using glue or a stapler. I did this step ahead of time, and let the kids do the rest themselves.

Next, cut shapes out of cardstock for each character. I traced and cut ears for Piglet, and a face for Winnie the Pooh. Take a sheet of construction paper and cut small shapes for noses. Glue the shapes on the party hats, draw eyes and a mouth, and your child has made an adorable character party hat!
